On September 18th, 2025, the City of Chino Hills hosted a free Emergency Preparedness Workshop that featured presentations from the City staff, Chino Valley Fire District, Chino Hills Police Department, major wireless carriers, and other community partners. Over 130 people attended and learned practical steps to prepare for emergencies, including building an emergency kit, creating wildfire defense zones, understanding evacuation procedures, and maintaining communication during outages.
