Please be advised that herbicide and insecticide treatments will be applied throughout the community during the month of October. Signs will be placed around the community during the application to notify residents of the work in progress.

Hello Alterra Residents,

The City of Chino Hills and Waste Management are offering a FREE mulch, compost, and wood chips giveaway for residents on Saturday, October 4, 2025. The event will take place at the overflow parking lot at The Shoppes at Chino Hills (off Shoppes Drive, west of Boys Republic Drive).

Residents may receive up to 60 gallons of each material per household at NO COST. Compost enriches soil with nutrients, mulch helps retain moisture, and wood chips are ideal for landscaping projects.

Please remember to bring your own containers or bags and a shovel, as containers will not be provided at the event. Proof of Chino Hills residency will be required, and bags are allowed.

This program is part of the City’s effort to divert organic waste from landfills and promote healthy, sustainable yards and gardens.

Dear Alterra Residents,

At the Board of Directors’ Regular Session Meeting held on September 11, 2025, the Board formally adopted the updated Paint Specifications for the Community’s Wrought Iron and Block Walls.

The approved specifications provide detailed requirements for repainting and maintenance of these community features. For your convenience, a copy of the full specifications is attached to this notice and the document is also available anytime in the Resident Portal under: My Community > Documents > Architectural > Paint.

We encourage all homeowners to review the attached document for reference when planning any work that may involve these surfaces.
